The CW5300 series of water-cooled 8-kW dc/dc and ac/dc converter modules provides high power density for extreme environments in industries such as railway controls/communications equipment, military, alternative energy, transportation, and process-control systems. Five standard dc input voltage ranges are offered from 80 to 800 Vdc, as well as three-phase ac input voltages including 3 x 200 Vac, 3 x 400 Vac, and 3 x 480 Vac. Single outputs are available in nine standard ranges spanning 14 to 400 Vdc.
All modules have remote sensing up to 150-Vdc output, overvoltage protection, and current limit protection. Efficiency is as high as 95%, operating temperature is -20° to 75°C. The units include decoupling diodes for parallel or redundant operation, power fail, dc-ok alarms, system reset, active current sharing, and programming.
