8-Mbit F-RAM features reliability, low power

The FM23MLD16 8-Mbit,3-V parallel NV-RAM uses F-RAM technology and features nearly unlimited read/write cycles. The device draws 9 mA for reads/writes and has a typical standby current of 180 µA.

The chip is organized as 512 K x 16 and is accessed with an industry-standard parallel interface, with 60-ns access times. It comes in a 48-pin FBGA package, is pin compatible with many SRAMs, and operates over the industrial temperature range. ($29.23 ea/10,000 — available now.)
