The Ultra PoE POE480U-8UP is an eight-port PoE midspan that provides 60 W/port and full power of 480 W. It requires no power management and remotely powers applications such as wireless access points, computer workstations, security systems and IP cameras with heaters.
The eight-port midspan enables remote powering of high-power devices outside or on the top of a pole without having to run ac power to the location. It is 17.25 x 8.98 x 1.75 in. and has safety and protection systems to meet the IEEE 802.3 standards, including detection, disconnect, and overload control.
