The cRIO-9068 controller features a Xilinx Zynq-7020 all programmable SoC, which combines a 667 MHz dual-core ARM Cortes-A9 processor and 7 Series FPGA fabric. The unit is said to be four times faster than previous generations and now has a Linux-based, real-time OS that provides greater flexibility for both LabVIEW Real-Time and C/C++ application developers.
The unit enables engineers and scientists to use a single, graphical development environment (LabVIEW) for multiple platforms. It offers an extended operating temperature range of -40° to 70°C and has two GBe interfaces and eight slots for C Series I/O modules.
