8-V power MOSFETs extend battery life

The AON2400 and AON2401 MOSFETs are the first 8-V devices and feature 11- and 22-mΩ on-resistance rated at 1.2 VGS. The devices provide extended battery life in low-voltage applications and suit space-constrained portable applications such as smartphones, tablet PCs, UltraBook computers, eReaders, digital cameras, and portable music players.

The MOSFETs are housed in a thermally enhanced DFN2x2 power package and are available in n- and p-channel versions. The devices have a 2 x 2–mm footprint and 0.6–mm profile. ($0.27 ea/1,000 — available now.)
