The TWB8 series of dc/dc converters meet all EN50155 standards for railway safety and delivers 88% power supply efficiency. These 8-W single and dual output dc/dc converters come in a 24-pin DIP package measuring 1.25 x 0.80 x 0.40-in. Designed to reduce premature system failure in railway applications, the converters pass shock and vibration testing for harsh environments.
The dc/dc converters are also available in an optional SMD package, provides output currents up to 2.4 A and a 4:1 input voltage range. The converters are available now from $29.50 ea/1,000 units.
