The 800-W AGF800 series is a full-brick dc/dc converter module that offers 94.5% typical efficiency and an input range from 36 to 75 V and outputs of 24 or 48 V. The 48-V model can deliver up to 16.7-A output current, while the 28-V model can deliver up to 28.6-A output current. The 48-V model (AGF800-48S48) supports the high power wireless base station deployments using GaN technology.
The converter module uses an aluminum baseplate and both models operate between -40° and 85°C ambient temperature, and can operate at full power up to 100°C baseplate temperature without air cooling. The modules offer a trim range from 24 to 53-V output for the 48-V version and 14 to 33 V for the 24-V version. The modules feature remote enable, remote output sense, trim, auxiliary output, power-good signal; and protection features such as input under voltage lockout, output over current protection, output over voltage protection, and over temperature protection.
