802.11n/USB chip easily adds Wi-Fi

The BCM4323 single-chip dual-band 802.11n USB solution brings lower cost to Wi-Fi USB adapters for TVs, PCs, set-top boxes, and personal video recorders, The chip has two radios (2.4 and 5 GHz), an ARM Cortex M3 processor, and RAM that enables offloading wireless functions from the host processor in consumer devices.

The device uses 3.3 V with average standby power of less than 75 mW. An enhanced 2×2 Wi-Fi architecture improve the performance and range, while maintaining interoperability.
