802.15.4 wireless SoC is fully integrated

The MG2475 2.4 GHz system-on-chip provides wireless connectivity for IEEE 802.15.4 and RF4CE with high receive sensitivity of –98.5 dBm. In addition to the standard 250 Kbps data-rate, enhanced high data-rate mode of 1 Mbits/s with channel coding is supported. It takes only 22.4 ma in transmit, at +5 dBm output power, and 16.3 ma in receive.

The chip combines an RF transceiver with an enhanced 8051 MCU, a baseband PHY, a MAC with AES-128 HW engine, 64 Kbyte flash, a 7 Kbyte RAM, a 1 Kbyte boot ROM,  a 4-channel DMA, AES 128, five PWM channels, and a voice encoder/decoder. It comes in a 6 x 6 mm QFN40 package, operates over -40° to 125°C.
