UPS has ratings up to 15 kVA
An on-line uninterruptible power supply (UPS), the UPS2000, comes in six
models from 3 to 15 kVA. It maintains power for up to 10 m after an outage
through a battery backup. The supply can also continue powering the load
under brownouts–down to 75% of normal line voltage–without battery
drain. A microprocessor-controlled operator panel has a 160-character
display to simplify setup and operation. An RS-232 port enables the UPS to
interface terminals, computers, and other remote devices. Voltage
regulation is +/-3%. The UPS operates on 120, 208, or 240 Vac. (From $3,
