Logic analyzers simplify probing
Two logic analyzers, the PM 3585/30 and PM 3585/31, feature
dual-analysis-per-pin architecture, which allows both state and timing
data to be acquired simultaneously with one probe connection.
Expandability from 32 to 64 or 96 channels, 200-MHz timing and 50-MHz
state analysis, and 2 Kbytes of memory are other key features. The PM
3585/31 also supports SCPI as well as IEEE-488.2, the first logic analyzer
to support the new standard. Support packages for over 110 microprocessor
types are available for PM 3580 Series analyzers. The microprocessor
adapters for the analyzers provide a fast connection to the processor and
exhibit low capacitance loading for both state and timing data. Adapters
for new and currently unsupported microprocessors are continually being
