Software predicts equipment reliability
The Reliability Prediction Program (RPP) release 5.1 predicts equipment
reliability in accordance with MIL-HDBK-217F Notice 1, and implements both
the part stress and parts count techniques of the handbook. MIL-HDBK-217F
Notice 1 was released in July with changes to the failure-rate models for
monolithic and hybrid microcircuits, FETs, and potentiometers. RPP
provides reports with predefined formats that meet the requirements of
military contracts, and that facilitate evaluation of reliability
characteristics. User-defined reports are available for special needs.
