Transformers fit PF controller use
A series of transformers is designed for use in power factor controller
circuits in switching power supplies and electronic lighting ballasts. The
first transformers available in the series are optimized for Motorola
MC33261, MC34261, and MC34262 power factor controllers. Future designs
will support controllers and preregulators from other IC makers.
Transformer models N2880-A and N2881-A are of EE bobbin/core construction.
The former is designed for 175-W controllers with 110/220-Vac input; the
latter for 80-W, 110-Vac circuits. (80 W, $1.50 ea/10,000–stock.)
