T3-1/4 LED comes in nine colors
The line of clustered, T1 and T3-1/4, wedge-based automotive LED lamps
are available in a selection of nine colors. The lamps are a direct
replacement for incandescent bulbs and are also suitable for
backlights/indicators in aircraft, instrumentation, and coin machines.
Voltage requirements are between 5 and 60 V with maximum current at these
voltages being 60 mA and 12 mA, respectively. Low-current applications are
also accommodated, including 5 and 2 mA. Available colors include
high-efficiency red (635 nm), orange (620 nm), lime yellow (570 nm), and
pure green (555 nm). A six and seven cluster of T1 LEDs, designated the
WB9500 series, provides a collimated (12 degrees) light source with an
intensity of 500 to 1,000 mcd. Multichip products, designated the WB950
series, are available in 1- to 6-chip versions with viewing angles of 160
degrees, 120 degrees, or 90 degrees. (Clusters, $3.50 to $7.85; multichip,
