Miniature temperature logger costs only $99
Hobo-Temp miniature loggers, available with either internal or external
temperature sensors, provide a measurement range of -39 degrees to +123
degreesC, -5 degrees to +37 degreesC, or -37 degrees to +46 degreesC. All
logger configurations store up to 1800 measurements over 31 user
selectable durations spanning 15 minutes to 360 days. The logger's case is
water resistant, and measures 2.1 in. high by 1.3 in./ in ida. protects
against normal environmental hazards, and logging data to non-volatile
EEPROM protects stored measurements against even catastrophic damage. The
logger's companion software for PC and Macintosh computers uses an
intuitive graphical interface. Explanatory text, temperature scales,
launch time, and other data entered in a setup dialogue are stored in the
logger's memory and automatically appear in data plots. Built-in graphing
tools allow the user to prepare finished graphs for printing or pasting
into experiment reports, and built-in export tools makes it possible to
share data with other analysis software in a variety of spreadsheet
