Modem chipset is optimized for PC office environment
The two-chip XR-29V00 provides the complete data pump function for Group
3 9,600-bit/s fax, 2,400-bit/s data, voice with 4: 1 compression, and
Caller ID operation. The product's 4: 1 compression was selected for
optimum operation in a Windows environment. The XR-29V00 supports all
domestic and international communication specifications for worldwide
communications, as well as CCITT V.42 error control plus MNP 5 and V.42bis
data compression. The chipset comprises the XR-29V01 digital signal
processor and the XR-29P02 combination analog and digital chip. Both chips
are available in 52-pin PLCCs, 52-pin QFPs, or 64-pin SQFPs. ($26.89 ea/1,
