Electromechanical relays are small
The LQ52 series of electromechanical relays has 2 Form C bifurcated
contacts in a 10-pin package that takes less than 0.2 in
board space. The contacts are silver palladium with gold caps and can
switch up to 1 A. Power requirements are 140 to 300 mW. The relays are
offered in six standard voltages in the range of 3 to 48 Vdc. They are UL
and CSA approved and meet or exceed the safety requirements specified in
FCC part 68, 1500 surge voltage requirement. ($2 ea/5,000–stock to 8
