CAD software interfaces
P-CAD, EDIF
TSI-EDIF is an electronic design software interface that provides
full graphical schematic translation between P-CAD schematic drawings
and other CAE systems that support EDIF 2.0. It will support
Viewlogic, Cadnetix EDIF, and eventually Cadence, Mentor Graphics,
and OrCAD schematic environments. Features include drawing and
text scaling, text-attribute-to-EDIF-property mapping,
attribute-to-attribute conversion, and batch-file operation. Besides
supporting P-CAD Release 5.1, the software will support the recently
announced P-CAD Release 6.0 in testing. ($6,000 per target CAE system for
a DOS implementation–available now.)
