Windows-based pc-board software
PADS-2000, the company's pc-board design software, is now ported to the
Windows operating system. It includes an interactive/batch autorouter
based on PADS-PowerRouter. A hypertext help system provides on-line
documentation. Schematic capture features include 32-bit memory support,
automatic gate and pin assignment, library merge of symbols from external
jobs, and on-line net generation. Layout features include full support for
surface-mount devices and blind and buried vias, component rotation,
copper pouring, route copy and trace following, curved trace and polygon
support, and design rule checking. ($12,500–available now.) PADS
