Pc-board software adds new features
ULTIboard V 4.50, the latest release of the company's pc-board design
software, has a library containing over 400 component footprints. The
software's autorouter has added a routing option for “no vias.” Block
operations have been improved to make it easier for designers to transfer
common circuitry between designs. The software interfaces most
schematic-capture packages as well as the company's own ULTIcap
schematic-capture program. A real-time reconnect feature ensures that the
shortest connections to a component are displayed when it is shifted
around the pc board. The software runs on most DOS-based hardware. ($9,
