Data acquisition chips operate at 3 V
The LTC1283/87/89 are system-level A/D converter chips intended for use
in 3.3-V systems. The LTC1283 and LTC1289 are, respectively, 10- and
12-bit data acquisition systems that include eight-channel muxes; the
LTC1287 is a 12-bit A/D converter. The LTC1283 typically dissipates only
0.5 mW from a 3-V supply. The LTC1283/87/89 are pin-compatible with the
company's LTC1090/1292/1290 devices, respectively. The LTC1287 is
available in plastic or ceramic 8-pin DIPs. The LTC1283 and LTC1289 come
in 20-pin plastic or ceramic DIPs and SO packages (LTC1289 only). (The
