Ac power source delivers 10,000 VA
A 10-kVA power source, the model BL 10,000, combines the power of a
linear supply with the smaller size and weight of a switcher. It requires
only 15.75 in. of panel height for mounting into a 19-in. rack. The power
source's circuit provides voltage foldback to maintain full rated current
into an overload, without clipping the ac output. This ensures that
undistorted waveforms will be fed to the load, even under overload
conditions. A built-in IEEE-488/RS-232 interface allows the user to
control frequency over a 45 to 500-Hz range, as well as voltage from 0 to
120 or 208 V. Power can be configured for single- or three-phase. ($15,
