Gang programmer handles 8 PIC MCUs
The PGM16X8 gang programmer is designed for production programming of PIC
series microcontrollers from Microchip Technology. It can program and
verify eight PIC16C57s in 45 s, and eight PIC16C54s in 20 s. The PGM16X8
comes with two ZIF socket adapters, one for 18-pin sockets, the other for
28-pin sockets. The programmer runs from the parallel port on PC
compatibles. Another programmer, the PGM17, programs a single PIC17C42.
