Handheld TDR displays full cable trace
Said to be the only lightweight, handheld time-domain reflectometer
((TDR) with a full-trace display (LCD), the Biddle 511 locates and
identifies cable faults as close as 6 in. or as far away as 950 ft. The
full cable trace display allows the operator to see the whole picture:
initial pulse, all reflections, distance to the reflections in feet, the
nature of the impedance change, propagation factor, and battery condition.
The Biddle TDR is available with a fused blocking filter option for
uninterrupted testing of on-line cables up to 440 Vac or 230 Vdc. The unit
has five-key operation that requires minimal operator training and comes
