Software simulates ground bounce
PG-PLANE is a full three-dimensional inductance simulator for analyzing
power and ground bounce due to simultaneous switching noise on complex
MCMs, PGAs, and other packages. Using the software, IC and package
designers can investigate the effects of pin arrangement, plane-to-plane
spacing, and configuration on the effective inductance between a selected
output driver and supply. PG-PLANE is bundled with the company's HENRY 3D
Inductance Simulator and runs on all popular Sun workstations under Sun
