VCXO fits high-speed datacom applications
The VC-7000 Series voltage-controlled crystal oscillator is for use in
high-speed board- and box-level modems, instrumentation, imaging, high-end
audio, and other applications requiring high stability and fast,
wide-range phase-locked loops. The oscillators are well suited for data
links operating at 56 Kbaud and faster. Frequency stability is +/-25 ppm
and aging is <_2b_>1 ppm/year. Output drive is specified at 10 TTL loads or
15 pF for HCMOS loads. The oscillators operate from +5 Vdc and draw 35 mA.
Superimposed modulating frequency is up to 10 kHz at -3-dB points, with
output linearity of <_2b_>10% or better. Output rise/fall times are 10 ns
or better; operating temperature range is 0 to +70 degreesC. ($15. ea/1,
