Keyswitches have snap-acting contacts
Intended for panel/membrane applications, the RAFI Series 15/19
keyswitches have snap-acting contacts designed for over 1-million
operations. The switches have a 0.5-mm travel with a 7 to 10-oz operating
force for tactile feedback. The devices measure 15 x 19 mm with a height
of 9.7 mm. The gold contacts are rated at 100 mA at 42 V, while the silver
contacts are rated at 250 mA at 60 V. The units can be nonilluminated or
fully illuminated. Spot illumination is available via red, green, or
yellow LEDs. Sealing is to IP40 requirements. ($0.67 ea/5,000–available
