Line choke reduces power supply parts
The P3717-A line choke combines both common-mode and differential mode
filtering into a single component, thereby helping to keep the number of
switching power supply parts to a minimum. The common-mode filtering stage
provides as much as 55 dB attenuation. The differential mode filtering
stage provides up to -40 dB filtering at higher frequencies while allowing
the ac line power to pass through without loss. The P3717-A is rated at 3
A and has 1,500 Vrms isolation between windings to meet IEC 950
requirements. Dimensions are 1.75 x 1.55 x 1.3 in. ($3 ea/10,000–stock.)
