VME/VSB RISC board has autonomous DMA

The RISQengine/6e is an R3051/3052-based VMEbus board with master/slave
VSB support and autonomous DMA. Running at up to 40 MHz, the board uses a
RISQbus 32-bit mezzanine bus to allow data transfers at 160 Mbytes/s
between the CPU, DRAM, VME interface, VSB interface, EPROM, and I/O bus
controller. The 6U board occupies a single slot. Memory comprises either
8 or 16 Kbytes of instruction cache, 2 or 4 Kbytes of data cache, 2, 8, or
16 Mbytes of two-way interleaved DRAM with single-cycle cache refill, 8 or
32 Kbytes nonvolatile RAM, and 256 Kbytes of EPROM (expandable to 1
Mbyte). Other features include a resident PROM monitor, DMA controller,
two multiprotocol serial ports, real-time clock, and three counter/timers.
Software support includes VxWorks and Unix SVR4. (25-MHz 2-Mbyte DRAM, $3,
600–2 to 4 weeks ARO.) RISQ Modular Systems, Inc. Newark, CA Nageen
