Digital synthesizer outputs 42-MHz sine The Q2230 direct digital
synthesizer has an 85-MHz max clock, a control interface, 32-bit phase
accumulator, 15-bit sine-lookup converter, and output for a 12-bit D/A
converter. The CMOS control interface can be shifted in parallel for
frequency hopping with a latency of 14 clock cycles, or serially for
minimum circuitry. The phase accumulators can be stacked to 64-bit
