Airflow switch has dual logic outputs
Designed for monitoring forced-air-cooling systems, the Thermulator
switch provides an output corresponding to a rise in temperature or a
decrease in air velocity. A minor alarm can be sounded if either of the
two parameters exceed predetermined limits, while a major alarm signal is
sent if this change continues. The switch monitors air velocity ranging
from 50 to 1,000 ft/min, with typical ambient temperatures of between 25
degrees and 55 degreesC. Available in a TO-3 package, the device requires
5 Vdc with a 0.5-W maximum power dissipation. The output is up to 16 mA
(max). ($39.95–2 weeks ARO.) Warren G-V, Whippany, NJ William
