Photoelectric sensor provides different operating modes
The TinyEye photoelectric sensor has a wide variety of unique
“quick-change” optical block lenses. This allows the sensor to be used in
any sensing mode–proximity, convergent, retroreflective, polarized
retroreflective, and fiber optic. A red or infrared light source/receiver
combination is included for use in the opposed sensing mode. Sensor
ranges are up to 18 in. for the proximity mode, 20 ft for the
retroreflective mode, and 25 ft for the through-beam mode. Response time
is 500 microsecond. Both npn and pnp sensor outputs are available.
