Low-cost ARB provides high-end features
The Model 5920 offers several features usually found in more expensive
arbitrary waveform generators. These include a 10-MHz sample rate, 16,384
data points, 0.1% voltage accuracy, 100-ns rise time, 30-Vp-p output with
4,000 count resolution, 0.01% typical frequency accuracy, and high-speed
GPIB waveform loading. Furthermore, 1,000-step, real-time auto-programmer
enables the user to create large and complex waveforms by using loops and
conditional statements to sequence multiple subwaveforms. The Model 5920
also operates as a 5-MHz programmable function generator with standard
waveforms, variable duty cycle, and operating modes of gate, trigger, and
triggered counted burst. An IEEE-488 interface is standard. ($2,995–4
