Dc/dc converter
in 24-pin DIP
A 5-W dc/dc converter is available in 21 models with 2:1 input ranges between
4.5 and 72 V. The TP5B series is packaged in a 24-pin DIP and comes with single
or dual outputs. The switching frequency is 100 kHz, and efficiency 75%
maximum. Load regulation for the single-output model is +/-1%. For the
dual-output model, it is +/-2.5%. Ripple-and-noise is 0.5% to 1% peak-to-peak
max, and isolation-resistance is 1,000 M Ω. The operating temperature
range is -25 degrees to +71 degreesC with no derating. The converter is
protected from short circuits and EMI/RFI noise. (Typical single-output model,
