Power inductors have
small footprint
DC1012 power inductors measure less than 0.4 in. (10 mm) in diameter and 0.6
in. (15.2 mm) high, and yet provide up to 330 microhenries inductance. The high
inductance for their size makes these inductors well suited for a broad variety
of energy storage, smoothing, and EMI reduction applications, especially in
downsized switching power supplies. The inductors are available in a wide range
of EIA standard values from 10 to 330 microhenries, with current ratings from
0.6 to 3.5 A. Custom versions and a designer's sample kit containing samples of
