Multimode serial
transceivers for WAN
The SP502 and SP503 are +5-V software-configurable serial interface
transceivers for WAN applications. The devices support RS-232, V.35, RS-449,
EIA-530, RS-422, and RS-485 interface standards. A 4-bit control word can
configure the drivers and receivers for any of the six modes of operation. The
SP502 features six drivers and seven receivers; the SP503 contains seven
drivers and receivers. Both devices come in 80-pin QFPs. ($14.50
