Dual FIR filter
for high-speed video
The LF43168 dual eight-tap FIR filter can be cascaded to form a single filter
with up to 256 taps. The device features 10-bit data and coefficient inputs and
provides up to 16:1 output decimation. Optimized for symmetric coefficient
sets, it includes on-chip storage that holds 32 different coefficient sets.
Separate coefficient sets may be used in the two filter sections, allowing one
chip to handle two interleaved data sets in a single stream. The device comes
in 84-pin PLCC, J-lead, and CPGA packages, as well as in a 100-pin PQFP. (From
