EMC system tests to 2 GHz
The Emipak EMC emissions testing packages have been upgraded with a
new antenna to measure emissions in the mobile telephone bands from 30
MHz to 2 GHz. In addition, the application software has been rewritten
to run under Windows 3.11 and Windows 95. It has preloaded standard test
setups and most commonly used international limit lines.
The basic Emipak package consists of a 9-kHz to 3.6-GHz spectrum analyzer,
a 16-A line network with built-in transient limiter, a low-noise preamplifier,
magnetic nearfield probes, software, and cabling for quantifying both radiated
and conducted emissions. Options include an IEEE-488 interface card and
an absorbing clamp that handles signals from 30 MHz to 1 GHz. (From $18,000–stock.)
