The AP Series dc supply comes in versions rated at 500 W, 1 kW, and
3 kW. Based on a switch-mode topology, it has an autoranging output and
provides programmable constant-voltage or constant-current operation. Other
operating modes include auto-parallel, auto-series, auto-tracking, remote
sensing, and remote programming.
The supply is suited for rack mounting or benchtop use and can be connected
with up to three other supplies in a master/slave configuration. It has
twin LED displays to show voltage and current. (500-W version, $1,690–3
weeks ARO.)
