The Model 520 handheld electrostatic voltmeter provides noncontacting
measurements of electrostatic surface voltages. It offers a full-scale
measurement range of ±2 kVdc over a spacing range of 5 to 25 mm,
with 5% accuracy.
The voltmeter employs a chopper design that uses a low-voltage ac-nulling
technique to achieve spacing-independent voltage measurements. The Model
520 also provides an optional voltage monitor output. ($595–stock.)
