Power inductors are
surface mount
Offered in inductance ranges of 5.0 to 1,000 µH (PL1xx/2xx) and
5.0 to 1,500 µH (PL3xx/4xx), the PL Series surface-mount leadless
power inductors feature dc resistances as low as 0.050 ohm. The parts
have 0.230- or 0.310-in. max profiles, respectively, with footprints of
0.260 x 0.260 (PL1xx), 0.410 x 0.410 (PL2xx/3xx), and 0.535 x 0.535 in.
(PL4xx).
The inductors feature welded internal connections and come in a transfer-molded
package that is built to meet MIL-T-27 standards. Other specifications
include a dielectric withstand voltage of 500 Vac, an inductance drop of
less than 30% at rated dc voltage, an overload current of 1.5 times the
rated current, and four tin-plated phosphor bronze terminations. Tape-and-reel
or tube packaging is available. ($3.50 ea/1,000–available now.)
