Low-cost scope provides digital and analog operation

The model HM1507 dual-channel 150-MHz scope can be switched from either
analog to digital or digital to analog operation via a single pushbutton.
Digital features include a sampling rate of 200 Msamples/s, an 8-bit flash
A/D converter, and a 2 x 2,048 x 8-bit storage capacity. Up to 2,000 samples
can be displayed across 10 divisions on the CRT.

Both modes feature a second time-base, which can be operated in either
free-run or triggered mode to 250 MHz. Trigger point indication, autoset,
save/recall, readout, and cursor measurement functions are also available
in both modes. The scope includes an RS-232 interface and features an optional
handheld remote control. ($1,980–2 weeks ARO.)
