Digital camera module delivers
true 12-bit image acquisition
The FTM1010 series digital camera module provides true 12-bit image
acquisition at a resolution of 1,000 x 1,000 at room temperature without
cooling. The module consists of two boards: one holds the CCD sensor and
preprocessing circuitry; the other contains a double-correlated sampler,
CCD-driver circuitry, an A/D converter, and power stabilization.
The modules run at 15 frames/s at maximum resolution or 30 frames/s
in vertical-binning mode at half the vertical resolution. Other modes include
free running, variable integration time, and external triggering. (From
