Sourcemeter offers
sub-femtoamp sensitivity
The Model 6430 sub-femtoampere remote source-meter can detect current
changes as small as 4 x 10–16 A and measure at speeds up
to 2,000 readings/s. The unit provides a voltage source and measurement
range of 200 mV to 200 V, a current source and measurement range from 1
pA to 100 mA, and resistance measurements from 20 ohm to 20 Tohm.
Other features include a noise figure of 0.4 fA peak-to-peak, a remote
preamplifier, and built-in RS-232 and IEEE-488 interfaces. ($9,900–12
