Piezo inverter operates
from battery voltage

Device has a maximum output power of 0.65 W Unlike previous devices that required a regulated
5-Vdc power input, the DS-0772 piezoelectric
inverter is presented as the first to accept a
battery input from 3.0 to 5.5 Vdc. The unit
targets portable backlit LCD applications where
size and performance are priorities. Its minimum output voltage is 900 Vrms (open
circuit) at a maximum current of 2.0 mArms and a
maximum output power of 0.65 W. The 59.5 (L) x
9.0 (W) x 6.7 (H)-mm packaged device has an
operating frequency of 160 kHz ±10%.

The inverter is a direct plug-in alternative to
the company's HBL-0204 product. (Approx. $10
ea/large qty–available now.)
