Gigahertz devices achieve a 2.8-nV/Ö Hz
noise density and a –84-dB THD at 30 MHz
Manufactured using the company's
second-generation complementary bipolar process
technology, the THS4271/5 voltage-feedback op
amps offer the industry's lowest distortion of
–84 dB below the carrier at 30 MHz with a
2-Vp-p output. The devices' ultralow distortion,
combined with their 1.4-GHz bandwidth,
900-V/µs slew rate, and 2.8-nV/Ö Hz
input noise voltage enable higher performance in
signal acquisition chains for wireless
communications and other high-performance
applications.

In wireless base stations, the devices can drive
high-speed 14-bit data converters, eliminating
intermediate signal stages to reduce system
costs. Housed in MSOPs, the parts operate from
4.5 to 15 V. ($2.69 ea/1,000–available now.)
