Designed for applications requiring real-time data and signal processing, the PowerNode3 PowerPC G4-based computing node operates at 1 GHz. It includes up to 1 Gbyte SDRAM accessible at a local bus speed of 133 MHz.
The board provides twin PCI mezzanine card slots, one at 64 bits and 66 MHz and one at 32 bits and 33 and 43 MHz. The unit draws 30 W typ in dual-CPU configuration and is available in three convection-cooled version and one conduction-cooled version. (From $5,870�available now.)
