Suited for laboratory or production floor use, the portable laser diode source offers integrated temperature control for precise wavelength tuning. The unit operates across a range of several nanometers with a resolution of picometers.
Optical power level and wavelength can be set independently and the unit provides a serial communications interface for remote control. The device is also available in patch-panel rackmount form�accommodating banks of up to eight lasers or more�for use in DWDM applications. (Around $1,500�available now.)
