AIC and LSI Logic Provide First Fully Enabled SATA II 3Gbps Chassis Solution with MegaRAID® Adapter
Advanced Industrial Computer (AIC) announced today its chassis solutions now feature the LSI Logic Corporation MegaRAID SATA 300-8X. The MegaRAID adapter fully supports backplane compatibility with SATA drive Pin 11 utilization to automatically show all drive activity without special additional connectors. AIC has stepped forward as the first chassis manufacturer in the world to offer a MegaRAID SATA 3Gbps chassis solution that fully leverages the SATA drive Pin 11 feature.

The chassis units leverage anywhere from one to six of our MegaRAID SATA 300-8X controllers depending upon the configuration.” AIC SATA RAID chassis family ranges from 1U, four drive to 8U, 40 drive solutions featuring the LSI Logic MegaRAID SATA 150-4, 150-6 and the newly introduced 300-8X.
