The SST85LD0128 NANDrive is a 128-Mbyte ATA solid-state storage IC that manages all NAND flash complexities and allows designers to quickly integrate mass data storage into designs without firmware. The device is compatible with all mobile, embedded, and desktop operating systems that support an ATA interface.

The chip has sustained read and write rates up to 30 Mbytes/s. It features a unique 20-byte serial ID number for data encryption and up to four protection zones that can be used to store boot code. ($13.50 ea/10,000�samples available now.)
